All-Organic Natural Products

In 1993, Vigoro acquired the Canagro line of high quality organic fertilizers. Developed in response to consumer demand for an "all-natural" alternative in lawn and garden nutrition, Canagro products quickly became Canada's leader in natural fertilizers. The line includes a range of true organic substances that are homogenous (not blended) and designed to deliver results in many growing situations.

Canagro Nature's Fertilizer 8-4-4
An all-natural premium slow-release nitrogen fertilizer, 8-4-4 is excellent for lawns and vegetable gardens. It will provide for good initial growth and meet long-term plant nutritional requirements. Available in 8kg and 18kg bags.

Canagro Nature's Fertilizer 5-4-7
A premium all-natural fertilizer for flowers and vegetables, 5-4-7 can also be used on lawns. Its high magnesium content helps neutralize acidity and has been proven effective in preventing tree die-back. Available in 1, 2, 8 and 18kg sizes.

Canagro Tree and Lawn Fertilizer 4-4-8
A dual-purpose fall lawn fertilizer and tree/shrub fertilizer, this bone and blood meal-based organic product has a high potash component to help plants stay healthy through high-stress conditions. Available in 2, 8 and 18kg sizes.

Canagro Bonemeal 2-14-0
Long recognized as an excellent fertilizer, the natural phosphorous in bonemeal is especially good for bulbs, roses, evergreens and shrubs. As it promotes strong root development, bonemeal is also recommended for starting new plants. Canagro bonemeal is of exceptionally high quality. The bone is steamed to remove excess fat and meat protein which could damage plants. Then the bone is reduced to powder and pelletized, so it is in a form readily available to the plant. Available in 2, 4, 8 and 18kg sizes.

Canagro Bone and Bloodmeal 7-11-0
An excellent source of nitrogen and phosphorous for flowers, bulbs, vegetables and shrubs. Available in 1, 2, 4, 8 and 18kg sizes.

Canagro Bloodmeal 12-0-0
Bloodmeal is a completely natural slow-release source of nitrogen. It is excellent for use on leafy and green vegetables such as lettuce and corn, and can be applied throughout the growing period. Available in 1.5kg box.

Canagro Soil Conditioners
Canagro Gypsum provides calcium and sulfur to the soil. It also helps break up clays and removes harmful salts from the soil. Available in 8 and 18kg sizes.

Canagro Dolomitic Limestone provides calcium and magnesium to the soil and is best known for it's ability to "sweeten" acid soils. Unlike some "chipped" limestone products, Canagro Limestone is ground to a very fine powder, then made into a granulated form which is easy to handle and readily available to plants. Helps improve soil structure. Available in 2, 8 and 18kg sizes.

Canagro Specialty Fertilizers
Canagro Compost Aid 5-2-3 helps to enhance both the composting process and provides balanced nutrition to the finished product. It is all natural and contains many mircronutrients, as well as gypsum which is a natural odour controller. Available in 1 kg.

Canagro Kelpmeal is a high quality natural source of many micro-nutrients. Its high organic matter content improves soil structure. Available in 2kg carton.

Canagro Rose Food 5-3-8 provides balanced nutrition for all types of roses. All ingredients are natural to provide for optimum health, vigour and colour. Available in 2kg.
