1.NO PURCHASE REQUIRED. To enter to win the grand prize, fill out an official entry form available at all participating Certified Vigoro Dealers or garden centers and drop off in ballot boxes located in stores or mail to: The Return of the Pink Promotion P.O. Box 85042 Brant Plaza, Burlington, Ontario L7R 4K3 or enter on-line at www.vigoro.on.ca.
2.Contest commences March 1st, 2001. To be eligible, for the Grand prize, all entries must be received on or before December 2nd, 2001, the contest closing date. Limit one entry per household. Contest entries must bear sufficient postage. Envelopes containing more than one entry will be disqualified. Nu-Gro Corporation and Hamilton Volkswagen-Audi are not responsible for entries that are incomplete, delayed, destroyed, lost or misdirected in the mail or on-line. Illegible entries, bulk drop offs, or mechanical reproductions, facsimile entries are ineligible.
3.A total of one (1) grand prize will be awarded. The grand prize consists of a 2001 Base model Volkswagen Beetle with standard transmission, central air, arm rests, cruise control and heated seats. Also included are sales taxes and registration fees. Redemption of the Grand prize will be presented at the Hamilton Volkswagen-Audi Dealership. Subject to Hamilton Volkswagen-Audi Dealership availability at the time of redemption, the selected winner will have a choice of manufacturers colours. Delivery and transfer costs are not included. Approximate retail value of the prize is $26,000.00 Cdn.
4.A random draw will be made on January 18th, 2002 in Burlington, Ontario at 5;00 p.m. (EST), from all eligible entries received for the Grand prize. In order to win, the selected entrant will have to answer, unaided, a time limited, mathematical, skill testing question posed during a telephone interview, in person or by mail. The odds of being selected will depend on total number of eligible entries received. The selected entrant will be contacted within ten days of draw date. Contact will only be made with the selected entrant. In the event that the selected entrant is not eligible or does not comply with contest rules or cannot be contacted after two business days by contest sponsors, the contest sponsors shall have the right to redraw another entrant as a Grand prize winner and contest sponsors shall be released and discharged from any liability or responsibility in this regard.
5.To enter and be eligible to win, a person must be of or over the age of majority and a resident of Canada who is not an employee of, a member of the immediate family of or domicile with an employee of Nu-Gro Corporation and Hamilton Volkswagen-Audi, or their affiliated companies, agents, advertising agencies, contest prize suppliers or the independent contest organization.
6.By entering, each contestant agrees to abide by these rules and regulations and the decisions of the contest organization which are final. All entries become the property of the contest sponsors and none will be returned. The winner will be required to sign standard forms of release and consent to the use of their name, address, photograph and/or image for any publicity carried out by Nu-Gro Corporation and Hamilton Volkswagen-Audi, or their agencies without further compensation. Contest sponsors shall not be held responsible for any errors or negligence that may arise or occur in connection with the contest.
7.The contest is subject to all applicable federal, provincial and municipal laws.
8.The prize must be accepted as awarded, is non-transferable and cannot
be exchanged for cash. At their election, for any reason whatsoever, Nu-Gro
Corporation and Hamilton Volkswagen-Audi, may substitute any component of
the prize with a prize of equivalent value. Any litigation respecting the
conduct or organization of a publicity contest may be submitted to Régie
Des Alcools, de Courses Des Jeux for a ruling. Any litigation respecting the
awarding of a prize may be submitted to the Régie only for the purpose
of helping the parties reach a settlement.
