With the vast selection available at today's garden centre, it is easy to understand how gardeners become perplexed with what fertilizer(s) they should have in the garden shed. My rule of thumb here is... When in Doubt... Use PINK.

Pink Vigoro was developed over 40 years ago and has been the main stay of the Vigoro fertilizer family since then. Yes, we have improved the packaging, yes we have made it available in different sizes and containers: but the original formulation is still the one we use. PINK has proven time and again that it works.

PINK Vigoro is the type of product where a handful around ;the base of a plant or scattered along a row of vegetables will do a world of good. We are not suggesting that gardeners should ignore the label: but it usually comes close to the procedure stated above.

The PINK Vigoro pail (2.5kg) introduced in 1997 was very well-received by our customers. It is just the right size to carry around in the garden and the re-sealable lid will protect the fertilizer if the pail happens to be left out in the garden.

The empty pail is extremely useful as a compost collector in the kitchen!
