TOBERMORY


Tobermory's location is on the tip of the Bruce Peninsula in northern Ontario that has Georgian Bay on one side and Lake Huron on the other. Tobermory is a beautiful place to spend a week or even a few weeks. There are many attractions for one to enjoy. Visit the Bruce Peninsula National Park with many nature trails for hiking and see the famous Flowerpot rock formations by way of one of Tobermory's Glass Bottom Tour boats. There is also the M.S. Chi-Cheemaun ferry boat for tours to Manitoulin Island, a local golf course, guided horseback riding, swimming in Georgian Bay's crystal clear water, and much souvenir shopping to be done.

*SCUBA DIVING: Tobermory is Ontario's diving capital. For the underwater enthusiasts, visit Fathom Five National Marine Park. A scuba diver's paradise with more than 19 known shipwrecks preserved by the fresh waters of Georgian bay. Tobermory offers great diving for all certification levels. There are shore and boat diving available with varying depths for example the Sweepstakes a totally intact schooner built in 1867 which sits in only 20 feet of water but for the more adventurous there is the Arabia built in 1853 which sits in 110 feet.
