What is UltraSuede Light?
UltraSuede Light has all the terrific qualities of regular weight UltraSuede
but is approximately one half of the weight. This enables it to be draped,
shirred, smocked, pleated, tucked, and gathered into elegant
blouses, dresses and skirts. Appliqués made from UltraSuede Light are soft
and pliable. Perfect for sweaters, handwoven, quilts, and wall hangings.
It is suitable for almost any conventional pattern with a nap layout.
In contrast UltraSuede regular weight is more adaptable to patterns requiring
crisper firmer fabrics with no gathering.
In Canada, UltraSuede Light® is sold under the trade name of Ultima® light.
