The Norwich Tornado
June 2, 1998

These pictures capture the clean up that occurred immediately following the tornado. The pictures include both the clean up of the trees and buildings and also the support that was given to those people who helped to clean up the town. A large number of chipper/shredder machines was brought in to deal with the fallen trees.

If one thing, the aftermath of the tornado demonstrated the generous spirit of the people of Norwich.

Many people worked behind the scenes to provide refreshments for the work crews.

Following a busy week, the work crew line up their equipment for a picture to show the extent of the involvement to the clean-up.
