This picture shows Norwich Fire Department on John Street in Norwich. It was taken circa 1924. The people in the picture are: #1 Roy Griswold, #2 Herb Ennis, #3 Vivian Rachar, #4 Harry Herrick, #5 Milton Buckborough, #6 Mel Buck, #7 Floyd Mussell,  #8 David Newton,  #9 John Armour, #10 Chris McIntyre, and Reeve Bill Hooper (in the trench coat). This picture shows the John Street Fire Hall at a later date. The firefighters are standing in front of the 1938 Chevrolet Pumper . The people in the photo from the front to to the rear of the truck are Fireman W. Cordell; C. Leach; Lieut. W. Tracey;Chief B. Baines; Firemen F. Fisk; L. Norris; H. Whitcroft; H. Binkle (in the cab). Absent from the picture are Capt. L. Mainicom, F. McKay and L. Snow.
