A few words on the 'glow black series' featured only here - this concept is one one that Vance did the R&D on over eight years - and it works. The glow on black is tested on many waters and is very effective; to the point that very few other colors are even needed. The principle is a simple, and uses three significant concepts that will put fish on the ice for you - and it works for almost all fish we as fishers fish for!
ALL THESE JIGS ARE MADE WITH LEAD, SAD TO SAY! ONCE SUITABLE SUBSTITUTES BECOME AVAILABLE - WE'LL CARRY THEM - BUT SO FAR WE HAVEN'T FOUND ANYTHING THAT ISN'T INFERIOR. Too, and in defense of these jigs - they are all painted and have a tough outer clear coat - so lead won't come through unless the coating is removed!

set light!) - but will usually hold the occasional
lunker OK!

are excellent for finicky, neutral and negative fish of most species!

useful when fish are finicky and neutral or negative!
Size 10 (gold hook) bluegills, crappie, pumpkinseeds and perch!
Size 8 (bronze hook) Vance's favorite 'all around' teeter totter
jig and is great for slab crappie, perch, bluegills and
pumpkinseed sunfish, speckled trout and will do a fair job of mid sized walleye,
trout and pike, albeit a bit small for
consistent large fish!
Size 6 (bronze hook) Great for perch when they're neutral or
negative, slab crappie and mid sized walleye, trout and pike
- just too small for catching large fish consistently - but usually will
hold these lunkers if taken only periodically.
Vance feels that once a jig has taken hundreds of fish and a couple of lunkers
- it doesn't owe him anything anymore
anyway - and he retires that particular jig. And he has lots of 'em - with
bent hooks and paint mostly worn off from
fish teeth.
